The NUS Business School community has been an active part of the NUS Alumni Network Manila over the years.

A Manila Send-Off
On 11 July 2026, Ayla Reyes (NUS MBA 2023) and Alberto Anton Medina (MBA 2026) organised an informal send-off at Panco Café, Greenbelt 3, Makati, for incoming NUS MBA students Joseph Pronove and Matt Jemuel Sy as they prepared to begin their studies at NUS Business School.
Joining them were alumni representing several MBA cohorts: Joseph Cheng (MBA 2017), Gian Calayan (MBA 2021), Gab Castaneda (MBA 2023), Beatriz Mendiola (MBA 2024), Justin Donn Mulingtapang (MBA 2025), and Alyssa Danielle Tan (MBA 2025).
Over coffee and conversation, the alumni shared practical tips, experiences, and encouragement with the incoming students—giving them a warm introduction to the NUS community even before they arrived in Singapore.

Just over a month later, the connections continued in Singapore.
On 29 August 2026, Joseph Cheng (MBA 2017) caught up with Joseph Pronove and Matt Jemuel Sy at Lola Café in Holland Village.
They were joined by Nathan Casanova (MSc Business Analytics 2023), Audrey Go (MBA 2024), Gregory Andrew Sy (MBA 2025), and incoming NUS Master in Public Administration student Ica Rivera.
The gathering extended beyond the Business School, reflecting the wider NUS community and the friendships and professional connections that develop across programmes and cohorts.

Building a Community Across Generations—and Borders
From the first dedicated NUS Business School alumni gathering in Manila in 2024 to these informal meet-ups in 2026, the community continues to evolve.
What started as an opportunity to bring Business School alumni together has also become a way for alumni to welcome incoming students, share what they have learned, and help make the transition from Manila to NUS a little more familiar.
The gatherings also capture the wider purpose of the NUS Alumni Network Manila: creating connections that cross schools, generations, and borders—and ensuring that the NUS community remains close, whether in Manila, Singapore, or elsewhere in the world.
